Will the 2004.003 (MS0031) compressor handle bracket fit my Crafts-
man® or DeVilbiss® portable air compressor?
The MS0031 compressor handle bracket will fit many of the horizontal tank Craftsman
and DeVilbiss portable compressors. Please refer to the dimensional drawing of the
2004.003 (MS0031) bracket and compare to your compressor dimensions.
Is the hose reel ALL STEEL?
All Reel Quick reels are supplied with heavy duty brass swivels and machined brass
hose connectors. Reel quick products are 99% steel. The only components you will
find to be plastic are the crank handle, (it spins on a steel shaft mounted to a steel
plate) and the bushings that spin between the reel and the axle. Both were chosen
for their low coeficience of friction (they spin very easily without wearing).

How much the reel weighs when full of water?
GH164-PL & GH164-PD weigh 50 pounds with water.

How do I mount properly to my wood siding?
If mounting through siding or any wood frame wall, you should always mount to the
studs. You will have to use a stud finder, or other means to locate the studs. Our wall
plates are pierced at 16" centers. 2-1/2" x 5/16" Lag screws are preferable. Be sure
to use a 1/8" or 5/32" drill bit to make pilot holes for the lag screws.

We are in the processing of mounting your reel. The house is brick. Which
is the acceptable way of mounting the wall bracket? Is it acceptable for
the mortar or the brick? We have concerns that the mortar might not be
strong enough to hold the weight. If we drill into the brick, the drilling or
the weight might split the brick. What do you recommend, does it matter?
We will refer you to the Brick Industry Association technical note 44A. You may be
able to access it from the web at http://www.brickinfo.org/pdfs/44a.pdf. It appears
for most applications a "Sleeve Anchor" (figure 6) attached to either mortar or brick
will do. We would suggest a 1/4" Sleeve Anchor installed in the mortar. It would be
best if you are able to put one in each of the six holes. The reel would be considered
a "heavy" "fixture weight" in Table #1.

What is the flow on the garden hose reels?
ALL garden hose reels are 3/4" flow. Both the swivel and inlet hose that connects the
reel to the faucet are 3/4".
Tire dimensions
Our semi-pneumatic tire is a 10.5 x 3.5 tire.
Your garden hose reels are made of steel - will they rust?
These steel hose reels are coated with a polyester TGIC powder baked paint. This
high quality powder, that contains special agents to prevent scratching and chipping,
is electrostatically applied to the reel and then melted to the steel in a 400 degree
oven for 20 minutes. The durability of the finish can be compared to that of most auto-
mobiles. Yes, it will eventually rust, but not before you are able to enjoy many years
of reliable performance. Also, we have been using this same coating on our industrial
pressure washer reels, (very humid environments), with great success for the past
13 years.
Is there any silicone, or silicone grease found anywhere on our reel, the
swivel etc?
Yes. Our air swivels and garden hose swivels both have silicone lubricant on the
o-rings. The only ones that don't are the oxy and pw swivels.
